Liverpool ONE’s branch of Thai restaurant Busaba will close its doors for the final time today (Monday 15 May).
The Asian food chain opened its Hanover Street venture in 2016 having previously launched a number of eateries in the South.
In an email circulated to its mailing list of diners at the weekend, Busaba revealed: “We’re sad to announce that we’ll be opening our doors in Liverpool for the final time on Monday… It’s been a blast. We’ve seriously enjoyed getting to know all our guests, making new friends and serving the amazing flavours of Busaba.
“Unfortunately the restaurant has been unable to get to the levels of trade we’d all hoped for. As a result we’ve had to make a tough decision for the greater good of our business.”
The restaurant will be open for business as usual today, serving up 50% off mains to bid its customers in the city farewell, before drinks and canapes between 6pm and 10pm.
