Healthy Homes is the latest organisation to sign up for this year’s Merseyside Landlords Expo

Liverpool City Council's Healthy Homes Programme was launched last year to prevent death and illness due to poor housing conditions and accidents in the home and is mainly aimed at the city’s rented sector. The team visit homes across the city to ensure the good standards of the properties and health of the tenants. To date, Healthy Homes has raised almost £2m from private sector investment in rented accommodation and completed over 10,000 visits across the city. The team, which works in partnership with Liverpool Primary Care Trust, together with organisations such as Sure Start Children Centres and Merseyside Fire and Rescue, will be among dozens of exhibitors at the Expo, which is to be held in the Golden Miller Suite at Aintree Racecourse. The event will also feature seminars throughout the day, from property experts including Sarah Walker. The Expo takes place on Thursday 23 September, begins at 10am.
